I believe we should all be diligent for this kind of "fine print". In the currant farm program, they are offering a cash back discount on one of their programs, all you have to do is sign a little piece of paper that would give the EPA access to your property at any time they want. No big deal. . . .right. They love the ways we have been willing to just hand over our freedoms and liberty.
I don't really care where this frightening concept is located, I'm apalled that it exists! Might explain why the traffic to the white house pages has fallen off.
Hey, Nancy, how about leading the charge against the "evil insurance companies" by conviencing the rest of congress to abandon your own golden cadillac private insurance. Enough of congress getting away with not being held to the rules they set for everyone else. Heck a lot of them don't even pay their taxes.
These people would stop at nothing to achieve what they want, They have realized what a tiny window of opportunity they have. They will sacrifice any remaining ethics to get their way. Be very wary until this thing is finally over.
Colin Powell wasted credibility when he abandoned his party because of race. When people are focused on race over all other aspects of a situation, isn't that a definition for racism? So many people go through this life surpasing someone else's expectation of them. So someone didn't think he was the national security advisor, get over it. Women experience this, Latinos (wise or otherwise), short guys who play basketball, people from the midwest. .. .the list in endless. So someone just didn't expect you to achieve what you achieved, that doesn't mean you've been abused. People need to grow up and take responsibility for themselves and stop blaming everyone else.
So China's nervous that Obama doesn't have a credible plan to support his claim to cut the deficit in half. Don't they realize that those facts rest on finding the figure that represents all the money Obama could have spent and didn't so he actually "saved" that amount of money which in turn would impact the projected deficit if they hadn't done anything at all, multiplied by all the deficit he inherited . . .Apparantly China isn't teaching the new math.
Obama is all about doing things his way, a new way. Why would he want to lower himself to stay at Camp David, it's an old used place. He has to keep blazin' new trails. It's interesting to read about the history of Camp David with every president since it came into being, until now anyway. Obama doesn't have any use for tradition.
Another way to look at this
People pushing for the socialized medicine = people least likely to use it = people most likely to benefit
People fighting socialized medicine = people who will pay for it = most likely to be hurt by it
I hope everyone is writing to their representatives and senators on a regular basis. I contact Ben Nelson's office regularly. As a "conservative" Democrat, he will probably be a player. However, I know that he is being wooed and if that doesn't work, threatened. He has recently said that his mail on cap and trade is 99% against but hasn't commented on health care. We have to continue to try to educate people and encourage them to DO something. People love to send the emails but won't think of emaiing their congressman or writing a letter to the editor. It's so like that analogy of the frog in the pan of water on the stove. . . .
He relied on ignorant people to elect him. Then he expects them to stay charmed to him. Most of these people don't want to delve into the issues. Most of the people I know who voted for Obama, don't have a clue about what he is really doing and they don't want to know. They're just happily going about their lives while the rest of us deal daily with the nightmare our country is facing.
