Glad someone else noticed the Christology/Patriotism in the Raimi movies. I'm sure they will be sorely missed.

Personally, I was just not ready to move on from the Raimi storyline, even after the mess that was Spiderman 3.

The Tobey Maguire Spidey was the superhero of my generation, in many ways, and to see him recast before I'm even out of college just feels odd to me.
