Yeah, I am about as "un-conservative" as they come, but that doesn't mean I don't support one's right to protect what is rightfully his/hers, let alone put their patrons/family in harm's way.

The bar owner did exactly what I would like to think I would have done, down to being prepared to do so when it came to the moment to actually step up and do it.

I think a lot of crime happens because people are willing to let themselves be taken advantage of or have the "it would never happen to me" mentality, instead of being prepared for the worst, and enjoying the best.

These comment readers don't realize that implied sarcasm is often lost unless you end your post with a cute little ;) or a "(sarcasm)"...which takes most of the "oomph" away from the comment anyway.

Unless of course you really do think he is a saint...in which case, thumb's down! (no sarcasm :0)

Are you sure it is the levity you enjoy or just the simple fact that you agree with or fall in line with his implied views?

I don't disagree that this is more (see "jack-hole") left-wing "violence", just stating that this is an idiotic way to "get your point across"...not that anyone knows what the guy had in mind.

Maybe he was concerned about the level of Murdoch's facial moisture and felt this was the best chance he'd have to show how much he cared...

What a shame...the only thing that this protester is going to do is increase the sympathy for the megalomaniacal billionaire jerk. It goes totally against the "ill will" he (the protester) is trying to express towards Murdoch, but because he did this it will most likely only undermine his intent. Not to mention that others who ARE protesting Murdoch in appropriate manners will get lumped in with this jack-hole.

Not how to protest something kids.

Are you talking about yourself? Just wondering because there is only mention of an "unidentified" 13 year-old boy...in all of 2 sentences! Otherwise this is really a quick descprition of past fires and what kind of trouble he may be in for.
