Great post! I really enjoyed reading it.

As a woman, I have been anticipating this day since the group began. The mall is one of my favorite places to be. It is always a learning experience, as long as I don't get distracted. This trip should be great for my blog.

This is great! I didn't know these types of alerting services existed. I had been trying to monitor other sites myself and was not doing a very good job. So, I will set up monitors for my twitter handle, blog name, and some of the major brands that I cover.

It is possible that I will be inundated with posts, though :) It will be a work in progress.

Like so many others, I am overwhelmed by today's readings. This will be another ongoing assignment, it seems.

I did like the five points highlighted. The one that speaks to me the most is #2, it takes effort. Effort is where I'm at with my blog. I am focusing on content, and trying to plan my posts. So, from today's readings I am studying "How To Write Great Blog Content" by Yaro Starak.

This is a really difficult assignment. There are a few really great bath and beauty blogs, so I am still working on this assignment. I probably will be for quite some time. One thing I notice is most of them post more often than I do. Thinking of ways to increase posts without sacrificing quality.

Great post! I found your blog through 31DBBB, and I can see myself returning often.

We do have difficulty understanding God's love, don't we? I can't speak for anyone else, but I have great difficulty with God's love. It is foreign to me. I can't understand why God would want anything to do with me, and I have told Him so. But he does. I will probably spend the rest of my life trying to understand this. And that is ok with me :)

This exercise seemed simple, but was harder than I thought. I had to really think about establishing a rapport with the reader, and that is not easy for me. It was usesful, though, because it will help me to write with my reader in mind. I'l be thinking more of the reader as I write.

Promotion is a problem for me, too. My blog entries post to Twitter automatically, and they usually post to Facebook. I also leave comments on other blogs, hoping they will come visit mine.

I have just started adding blogs to my blogroll. I am hoping that as I add others, they will add me.

Today's assignment was hard for me. It took me a long time to figure out what to list. Once I had a topic figured out, though, it went easier.

As a reader, I do like list posts. I can scan them. They also have natural breaking points where I can stop and evaluate what I just read before moving on. Lists are also efficient for me as a reader. Lists integrate. I can read and think about a number of related (or seemingly unrelated) things in one short period of time.

I made a list post on my blog. Since I am traveling today, I wrote about packing makeup for travel.

Hi, Tex!

Glad you're here! Like someone else commented, I didn't quite understand your tag line (not sure who Dr. Wayne Dyer is). However, your tag line DID pique my interest, so I took a stroll over to your blog for more info. I am so happy I did!

While your tag line wasn't entirely clear, it certainly did make me want to go investigate. I think that means you're doing something right. :)

Hi all,

My name is CaReese, and I am a graduate student. I am finishing up a Masters in Biblical Literature. I'm a Chicago native. It's a wonderful city (in the summer).

I found out about this group on Twitter and I was really excited. Now that I'm here, I feel kind of awkward because my blog is not church related. My blog is geared toward women that enjoy being clean and looking good. I use my blog as an outlet for my passions: bath and beauty products. I announce them. I try them. I rate them.

I suppose the goal of my blog is to educate, inform and save people money. My theory is that everybody has to get clean, so why not enjoy the process? (Most )everybody likes to look good so why not get real life info about the product BEFORE you buy?

Based on its title, my blog's tag line is: Everything You Need To Live The Glamourous Life

Anyway, thanks for listening!
