Amen Brother! This is a topic that has burned me up for years. The media loves to bring up the term "assault weapon" because it sounds great when they tell the story of the local drug dealer who got his hands on an AK variant (of course illegally) and all of a sudden these terrible "machine guns" need to be taken off the market. First off all when you find a gun that has killed someone by itself without any human manipulation please arrest it. Guns don't kill people it the people pulling the trigger. The media does not want to show the difference between "assault weapons' and "seim-automatic" sporting guns because then it would not sound good. I love to see a show that tells the truth on the difference of these weapons and also on how criminals will always obtain guns illegally no matter how many bans or laws are put into place. Thats why they are criminals.
