Well, this was one of my less-contrived ones. :-)

Talk about coincidence--my dad use to call them in for fire support on missions in Vietnam. Puff the Magic Dragon is what he called them. He loved that plane ...for many reasons. What years was your Dad there? Would've been funny if my Dad was calling your Dad. (Mine was there '68 -'71 in CCC.)

We might've been running through the same company--I went through in '97 too. Just wish I could've talked them into letting me get a jump in.

I seriously was going to mention it to you until I saw my itinerary--it was a fast trip. Fun, but fast. Wait till I post the video of me going out of the tower. You'll laugh.

You make an outstanding point Alex. There is a distinction between the dumb dad and that blanket accusation. That would've been great to mention in the post. I'm really glad you brought that up. One thing along those lines that I do get upset about is stuff meant for kids but it straight-up tells kids dads are bad. A few years back Mattel was marketing an American Girl doll with a back story that she and her mom were homeless because her dad abandoned them. I wrote a letter to the CEO on that one.
