The main problem is that there is no money to be made by the city or state to crack down on crime. The police want to, but are stifled and reduced to being nothing more than ticket issuers. And yes, alot of those people need to start taking care of themselves and thier families and stop expecting someone else to take care of them. This country is already sinking because of our nanny-state mentality. "Liberalism" is a sickness that is slowly engulfing America. Or maybe better yet, the "Progressive" mentality is the sickness sinking our country. Either way, we need to get our country back....................

Isnt it interesting how special groups like WUM dont like having other groups telling them what to do or think, but yet they force the rest of us to accept their ideals??? Is this really the best and biggest news that KOMO could come up with???? Yes, I forgot, Seattle is the center of the universe..............waste of news.......

Its funny how our government, both Democrats and Republicans, cant seem to find a way to balance our federal budget, but yet they have the time to pass laws that continue to screw the average citizen out of his pension funds. Wont be too much longer and there will be no pensions left. All that money will be absorbed into the company and given out as bonuses for the upper echelon. All these little tid-bits of information are all around us to observe, but no one wants to see the truth till its too late.........Good Luck.............

Maybe our state will consider lowering the taxes on gas first???? Then go after big oil. Funny how no one looks at the amount of taxes we pay for fuel.....

Another murder. So where are the "Liberals" condemming knives and machete's??? Where is thier cry that new laws need to be made to forbid knives and machete's?? Again people, its the sickness of the mind that is doing these terrible things. And for all of you that want to legalize pot or all the other drugs, here is a fine example of what happens. It was all about money and drugs.

This kind of mental sickness is spreading all over America. A sense of non-caring about life, others and thier own, no responsibilty. It seems to be getting worse all the time. No one wants to be held accountable for anything. Just by looking at his picture, you can see a sick and troubled mentality. But he needs to be held accountable for his actions.

Ken, this is where you and your anti-gun fanatics are wrong. Its not the gun, its the people using them. The example i give is the 19 yr old guy in Pacific that killed the 13 yr old boy. He didnt use a gun. The point is Ken, its the mentality of the people doing the killing. That is what needs to be changed. That 19 yr old guy killed that 13 yr old boy plain and simple. It was his mental sickness that killed that boy. And its the kind of sickness that is spreading all over this state and this country. Ken, that sickness is what needs to change, not the gun laws. Our society has allowed this mentality to fester and grow all over America. They dont have a sense of reality, or a sense of responsibilty anymore. So Ken, if you want to change anything, change the sickness in people......

Its time our government takes a stronger stand against drugs. The drug lords down south have recruited and send thier advisors up north to better organize thier gangs. Time to stop it. Drugs and killings seem to always be entwined. Let the cops do thier job.
