I'm not too big a fan of wasabi. I can take a little bit, especially when it's mixed in with mayo as part of the sushi, but not as a dip (e,g, wasabi + kikkoman). :)

I went without raw fish when I was pregnant, but when it was 'safe' for me to have sashimi again, --oh my! --I had a field day! :)

I can forego the other kinds of sushi, but I do love the Philly/Boston rolls --mainly because of the cream cheese, I think!

I started with tonkatsu and loved that. I think it was what got me into a Japanese restaurant in the first place. Then I got braver and tried the raw stuff... and found that I actually love sashimi. :) I'm not too squeamish about trying different food, but I draw the line at certain things --like, fried insects!

It's raw salmon, Simone. I couldn't stomach the thought of eating raw fish, too, before, but now I just LOVE it. :)

Ooh, I've been inhaling the seaweed these past two nights!! Scary how I can go through an entire pack of seaweed in one sitting, hahaha!

I have it with me wherever I go! Sometimes when I'm too lazy to lug my big girl camera, I count on this point-and-shoot,,, and what a bonus that it's an underwater camera as well. :)

It's slightly better here in HK than in Bangkok, but then there's the humidity to contend with... and summer is not even in full swing yet. I dread what temps summer will bring.

He was goofing around underwater --pretending to shoot at me while I shot pictures of him... and it was just lucky that I managed to get a shot of him in that position. :)
