Of course, who will ever forget 'Kingdom of the Spiders?'

Unfortunately, few seem to understand the original characters and stories as well as Roddneberry did, including Shatner. The new movie is loaded with examples. For instance, Kirk, the ultimate alpha male, gets his ass kicked in a bar in the beginning of the movie. When did that ever happen in the show?! Hell, Kirk defeated Khan, a man with ten times his strength. Other examples: an emotional Spock, a silly Scotty character with a ridiculous alien side-kick (ala Star Wars), and, jeez, not one kidney punch,

Instead of the superficial characters and lame CGI action in the new movies, I'd like to see them centered around what made the original series great -- great stories and the id, ego, and superego characterizations and interplay amongst Kirk, Spock, and Bones. Come on, it's not that hard... Just watch the original episodes for awhile before writing the next screenplay.

Who asks their doctor before surgery, "Have you always been faithful to your wife?" Or asks a lawyer before trial if he's ever changed his mind about issues in the past. Do we want a saint or a proven leader with bold ideas? I care infinitely more about defeating Obama and accomplishing the conservative agenda. Gingrich has been there and done that..

I watched the video several times. Look at the beginning and you'll see the body guards slam into the cadet before he pushes them back. They then proceed to beat the crap out of him. Of course, the PC a**holes of the Houston Police and West Point blame him.

Among other things, let's not forget that Teddy trashed and ruined the reputation of a brilliant jurist, Robert Bork. He also actively sought to undermine President Reagan by meeting secretly with the Soviets.

What I'll never understand is how these born rich, spoiled, egomaniacs turn into socialist America haters?

I would like to know what media organizations were on the list of conspirators. It doesn't prove much if it's just a few no-name journalists. More facts please.

Has anyone noticed that Jeff Goldblum is actually morphing into "Brundlefly?"
