in this case it seems fine since he is "co-directing" but i've heard that at times on the last few films he has directed Spielberg has directed via "webcam" and that pretty much means webcam, tv monitor with his face via satellite. seems to be slacking on some of his "non-political" films lately.
RJ seems like he really understands the full workings of what works in a film. I can't wait for The Brothers Bloom and he seems like the perfect filmmaker for this type of story... get it Rian!

i am always a little uneasy when things of this nature are said to be CG but i have enough faith in the HP series that it will work and not look dumb, otherwise they will scrap it and get actors.
it make me wonder why companies like AA would waste the extra money to hire a director like Gondry if they aren't going to use his artistry. They might as well just hire a good DP and a cheap director and get the same result for less money.
So many zombie films fall into that same old boring mold, Zombieland finally looks like we will get a new original zombie film that can be added to a fairly small list of good. Can't wait... and Jesse Eisenberg is pretty much the amazing.
