Yes, I sometime just broadly associate the corporate ladder with drones; an unfortunate side effect of my mid-level corporate experience... Over the past few years, I have worked with many, many C-level execs that absolutely love what they do and wouldn't imagine a different path, thanks for helping me clarify!

Great reflection on accomplishment. After reading this I feel that the people who understand the need for personal accomplishment are eventually the successful ones in society. And the people looking for that momentary glow in the spot light are forever doomed to chase the corporate ladder.
Rick, I completely agree. When I first started telling people about my plans on starting a company they didn't understand what I was doing. As my system evolved and grew into my current company, my "elevator pitch" grew with it. And now they get so into the conversation that my last dozen or so clients have come strictly from word of mouth.
