Sorry to say I didn't...retired in 2001. Has all those neat little pixels, colors, patterns really helped our troops in Afghanistan? The environment and situation may require special material, clothing, color...that is what is needed for special ops. My father and his generation did damn good in their flat brown uniforms in WW2, his unit didn't even see the Germans in their flat gray uniforms that wiped out over half of his company in the Black Forest. The cost of uniform R&D has been just stupid, waste on our taxpayer dollars. There are many considerations that need to go into this subject for a final resolution.
Now that's funny and it could work too.
For about six years now, since the digital pattern war started, I offered the solution, but like my solution and a $1.25, both will get you a cup of coffee at 7-11. So here it is again, once last time. Reality check first: where are the majority of our wars fought in the 21st Century? Correct,..in and around urban areas. So, how do we design a 'universal uniform'? With the help of Hollywood and HGTV. Build an entire town, grass, parks,old and new buildings, funky tattoo parlor, modest Church, etc. Then blow it all up and take photos, and design the pattern based on the color scheme of what's left. Then look at Israel, they wear OD green all the time. As for both the Air Force and Navy for airfields and ships, jump suit-coveralls, easy to maintain, quick and practical. Dress uniforms, USMC took care of their issue decades again and will fit forever. Army almost has it down, Coast Guard has their's done, Air Force looks okay,....Navy, Navy,Navy......you're sailors, look like sailors not Marine whannabees. Dress Blues, dress whites, coveralls, done. Pregnant female members get their maternity wear all Branches of course.
Do we wait n' see what Iran/Ahmadinejad does with the nuke when they get it? Or do we put them back a few years and into reality with a massive air strike? With people who rationalize everything via a 13th Century mentality, strength is the only thing they respect and respond to. The World has walked down the 'rational talking' road before, remember Saddam and 18 U.N. resolutions??!! Time for talk is done, over, fini. If talk meant anything to the Iranians, Hezobollah,Hamas, they would give up talking, trying to destroy Israel. They would have given up their nuclear ambitions without full compliance with the UN. They would have given up all offensive weaponry. But what have we seen??!! Only an increase in hostilities and arms build up. Time for talk is done. There needs to be a joint strike against Iran, the Saudi's had better join in because they'll be implicated anyway. Iran with nukes means Iran rules the Middle East, it'll be the Persian Empire II without a doubt. Strike hard, strike continuously for a week. If any Iranian surrogates want to stick their noses into this, then they get hit hard until they surrender. They talked they want war, give them war and all the horrors of it since it seems they forgot just how horrible war is. Then, and only then, they'll respect peace.
If, and I say 'if', any Republican wins the Presidential election this fall, a huge investigation of the ENTIRE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION (to include Czars) needs to be done for Unconstitutional actions, theft, brides, cohersion, betrayal, sabotage, insider trading, selling of secrets, and a few other things for sure. Also.....those who work(ed) for the Obama Administration and knew of this but did nothing....those people too, need to go to trial for conspiracy, failure to act to uphold the laws of the U.S. Constitution, etc etc. There are many, many people that are guilty of what has happened to the United States and it's citizens. Failure to prosecute these people, will only add to the number that in the end, will pay the price for betraying the American People.
Senator, you're ready for retirement. You've lived way beyond any rational usefulness to society and are a good reason that standards of conduct, term limits, and common sense need to be addressed to anyone running for public office, especially at the Federal level.

Very good article. The lengths that Obama will go to absolutely destroy this Nation without coming right out and saying that he hates the United States, is beyond comprehension of most of the masses. That is what is frightening. Obama has done more damage to the U.S. Military in 3 years than the KGB-Soviets did in 40. Clinton started the internal decay, Obama has just thrown gas and fertilizer on it all. Let's see, what do they both have in common - DNC Democrats!!! Nuff said.
Us laymen will never know the truth who actually killed that Iranian scientist. The Nazi's started wars using staged events, it happens all the time in history. This is what happens when the People give up power and allow fools and criminals to run a Nation.
