Also, if this person is capbable of such cruelty to an innocent animal, studies have proven time and time again that they either have been violent towards humans or can easily graduate to committing violent acts towards humans. There are quite a few serial killers throughout history that have started with cruelty to animals.
Wow. The person who did this is a SORRY excuse for a human being. This is cruel, unnecessary, barbaric and STUPID. Unfortunately the law does not protect animals that well. Since the law won't do a lot to them except fines, probation, and at the VERY most but highly unlikely a little jail/prison time, I hope that Karma bites them in their a** and does a good job at it. I can't even imagine what this poor little dog went through and it was not even the dog's fault!! No matter what the owner may have done it could have definitely been handled in a MUCH different, civilized and legal way. How can people do these kind of things?????
I am so sick of things so quickly boiling down to racism... I don't like the job Obama is doing but is it because he's half black? No! It's because I don't like the job that he is doing!! Yes, racism still exists but not every single statement and opinion against Obama, or any other minority, can be blamed on discrimination!! They might actually be doing something wrong that causes these opinions or these statements that have absolutely nothing to do with their race, religion, gender, lifestyle, etc. I'm sure I'll get plenty of angry comments about this but oh well... It's called common sense, it won't hurt to try it.

Oh so true. I fully believe that is what is saving those Westboro jerks. I am also a fan of the saying "If you don't want to stand behind our military, feel free to stand in front of them." I am just completely in awe of this congregation's ignorance & disrespect for the men & women who sacrifice so much for our country. We owe our soldier's a debt that we can never repay.
Scum like this needs to be eradicated from the face of the earth, however, the act of doing so would be illegal... These people aren't worth the air that they breathe!! They must not read their bibles very well...on the other hand that would require the ability for them to read. If they win this lawsuit I will be very disappointed in our legal system.
Also, I would love to see headlines reading something to the effect of 'Westboro Baptist Church Members Severely Beaten During a Protest at a Fallen Soldier's Funeral'. To be very honest I wouldn't want to see those who beat these pathetic excuses of human beings face any consequences!!! This just makes me so effing angry!!
I can't even put into words what kind of low lifes that these people (and I use the term 'people' very loosley) are!!! These are the absolute scum of society. I can't express how much hate & anger I have towards them. If they hate America so much, I'm sure there would be plenty of people to volunteer to ship them out. I, for one, who have never been arrested in my entire life would find a night or even a few nights in jail worth it to help make sure that the family & friends of the fallen get the peace they deserve to lay their loved one to rest. I'm sure these 'people' will be very shocked when they get to the afterlife. I'm sure it won't be the place that they are expecting!!!
Thank you to Spc McGarrah & all of the other men & women who have served our country. Their services are something that no matter what we pay them, they do not get enough. There is no possible way to pay these men & women all that they are worth. Westboro Baptist Church sickens me. They are sorry excuses for human beings and it is unimaginable how this must make the family & friends feel when they are dealing with so much sorrow already. God bless all of our troops & their families & friends and may God be watching over this man's family & friends during their time of grief.
