Not sure who deserves this contract, but it should be based on what is the best buy for the money. Now having said that, Boeing should be given a little extra credit. The current tanker and B52 fleets success over decades should add to Boeing's credit when the contract is considered. If it is close I would give it to Boeing just based on that. But if EADS is way ahead then they get it. KInd of like you have to beat the Champion, he retains his title in a close fight.
Simple Boeing is the winner until you come up with something bigger and better to meet the needs of the AF.

No sympathy for these college students. They are the same group that for decades have supported the Democratic Party and his spend spend spend logic in California. Well now it has caught up with them. They are the ones now paying the bill for all this spending.
There school, and professors always part of pushing the spending to excess, Well now they have to deal with it, they have to pay the bill for decades of spending on wonderful feel good programs that the state and tax payers could not pay the bill for. We once had a great education system based on the three Rs, now we have a dumbed down system, if feeling like a girl today you the ladies room, lets teach kids to put a condom on, and a ton of other silly stuff wasting time, money and resourses.
So just reach in your back pocket pull out your wallet and pay. You, your school, your professors wasted what was given to you.

Why not a complaint tax. Every time you complain you pay a budget shortfall tax of $500. That will shut up the unemployed, part time worker and a lot of old folks.
