I agree. Bureaucrats are notorious for protecting their own budgets above the needs of the American people no matter which side of the proverbial aisle they're on.
Malpractice reform (a.k.a. tort reform) is nothing more than hanging price tags on body parts. So tell me all of you fine Republicans out there, how much is one of your arms worth? How about one of your kidneys? How about your wife's or child's lungs or heart? How much are they worth? That is the power you're giving to Congress if you support tort reform.
My compliments to the DA who had the good sense to see through this sham. Mr. O'Keefe showed his true colors when he, and his Brietbart bought and paid for conservative cronies, tried to wiretap Sen. Landrieu's (D-LA) office. Spare us the Republican hysterics. O'Keefe is the criminal, not ACORN.

Legalize marijuana and the drug wars on the border will subside and the national debt will be paid off inside a decade with the tax revenues. Of course, the liquor and tobacco lobby will be running around DC paying off every Congressman in sight but hey, what else is new?
And where were your laments during the Bush 43 or Clinton Administrations when it was the GOP controlled Congress and White House who made all of this possible through legislation? You were sold out by your own kind and now you blame someone else; typical Republican.
