The actual GOP alternative is “an approach to government that will fundamentally reduce it's size so American's can meet the challenges of the 21st century.”

The reason I'm asking is, I have just created a list dedicated to the Conservative Era. This is a place where like minded people can present ideas and possible solutions to help promote this ideology.

I would also like to point out another observation. The old saying that, history repeats itself and those that do not learn from it are bound to repeat it, is very true.
From 1890 thru today, I believe, would be more accurate in describing the length of time for the progressive era. I also believe that, many in this country have come to understand that most of these ideas and ideals greatly affect our freedoms and prosperity as individuals and a country.
With this awakening to these facts, for most americans, we may well be at the beginning of the Conservative Era.

I would advise anyone who would like to understand how our country has evolved to the point it has should start their awakening there, as I have.

Since Article 1 Section 7 of the Constitution states:
All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
Since raising the debt limit definitely is about raising revenue. We in the People's House have "Constitutionally" done our part of the job by putting forth multiple plans it is now high time for the Senate and POTUS to do theirs. We will only consider a bill on this matter if it was originated in the People's House.

Being a strict “Constitutionalist” the only bill that the senate may consider is the “Cap, Cut and Balance”.
For the people that may not be aware of what I am speaking here is Article 1 Section 7 of our constitution:
“All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives, but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.”
No where does it say the Senate can devise their own Bills concerning raising Revenue.
A good example of how much this has been abused one only need look at the “Health Care Bill” The original bill that was sent to the Senate had nothing to do with health care and was completely rewritten keeping only the Bill’s number. How anyone could say that these changes were merely Amendments are making a mockery of our Constitution.
As I learned in Civics class the “House” proposes and the “Senate” disposes. Once we move away from this basic principle the old term “The Peoples House” becomes meaningless.
