the total number of thumbs up you have received on your posts is my guess.

You can say what you want so long as it is civil and respectful...it says so at the bottom of the page. Clearly you weren't civil, as the admins had to remove so many of your posts.

Here are my top ten wishes for America (in no particular order):

1. Pass an amendment imposing a one, 4-year term limit for all Congressman. Keep the current term limit for Presidents.

2. End all federal programs which do not benefit ALL American citizens (entitlement programs), and pass an amendment to make these programs unconstitutional at the federal level. Allow states to implement these types of programs if deemed necessary by the states' legislatures.

3. Pass an amendment to make earmarks unconstitutional at the federal level. It should be the responsibility of the states to implement and fund the earmarks of their Congressmen.

4. End the Federal Reserve and move back to a Gold Standard. Pass an amendment banning the creation of a federal or central bank.

5. The Unites States should leave the UN, and we should tell tell the UN to leave our country. Our national sovereignty should never be compromised by any resemblance of world government.

6. Repeal the income tax and corporate taxes, and raise the sales tax. Collect taxes based on one's spending, not earnings. Pass an amendment to make the collection of taxes on the income of an individual or private company unconstitutional. This would make it difficult, near impossible, to avoid paying taxes, and both legal and illegal immigrants living within our borders would have to pay their share of taxes as well. The Fair Tax is a viable option.

7. Allow for greater drilling within our borders and import less foreign oil. Also related to energy policy, build at least enough new nuclear power plants to replace the current old ones. The argument that nuclear power plants are unsafe is not only misleading, but also a very poor argument, especially considering the modern technology that has not yet had the opportunity to be implemented.

8. The United States does not need to police the world. Military action should be reserved only for when there is a clear threat to our homeland.

9. Legalize drugs and impose heavy drug taxes. The current "War on Drugs" causes more problems than it solves. Police do not need to be preoccupied with nonviolent drug addicts, and drug taxes would provide steady revenue for the federal government.

10. When it comes to border security, a 1700 mile long impenetrable fence along the Mexican border is impractical and too expensive for what it's worth; however, the legalization of drugs would reduce the violence leaking across the border, and the scrapping of income taxes for spending taxes would force illegal aliens to pay taxes like everyone else. These situations combined with the ending of federal entitlement programs would drastically reduce the cost of illegals on American taxpayers.
