<DIV>Eileen,</DIV> <DIV></DIV> <DIV>Thank you for your responses. I read them several times and I feel your spirit of sincerity. I also appreciate your writing in a civil manner without vitriol. Since you revealed that you are a "white conservative woman" I will reveal that I am a black male who is a member of the Nation of Islam under the leadership of Louis Farrakhan. I think a civil dialog would be very beneficial to both of us, especially since many of the stances you have taken are very personal to me. Can we do one thing first? Lets commit to discovering some of the political, social, and economical principles that we generally agree witheach other on before we take on items of perceived disagreements. As a "white conservative woman," you'll more than likely be quite surprised what a strong ally and advocate you have in Louis Farrakhan on many of the issues most important to you.

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE BENEFICENT, THE MERCIFUL

RE: Louis Farrakhan's Address to the N.A.A.C.P. on C-SPAN Video Archive

On June 13, 1994 the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan gave a nearly twenty minute address to the N.A.A.C.P. Leadership Summit, which was carried by C-SPAN. According to the C-SPAN review, "African-American leaders spoke about race, religious, and cultural unity among African-Americans. Minister Farrakhan gave a rousing address featuring quotes from Jesse Jackson's "Keep Hope Alive" address and Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a Dream" address."

You may begin the video at 50 minutes, which is before the introduction of Minister Farrakhan by Ben Andrews, which, according to C-SPAN, was the N.A.A.C.P. Vice Chairman of the National Board of Directors at that time.
