Congrats Dan!!!! and per your request would like to suggest how to incorporate an area in either a small office or even the living room that would be for my grandchildren when they come to stay overnite and they feel like it is their own personal space but yet when they are not there will not dominate my living area and I don't have to drag a bunch of stuff in and out. Would also love to see and get ideas for the kitchen, like and inexpensive way to change the look of the exsisting countertops. I would just love to see more budjet friendly things (especially since Design on a Dime will stop) .
Congrats Dan! America this is YOUR new Design Star! Because WE voted for him!!!! Antonio's is HGTV's new TV show (hardly a design star) of which we had nothing to do with and still can't figure out why they wasted our time with him. If they wanted him to have a show just give it to him. But don't mess with the Design Star objective. I now feel like Design Star is complete! I will watch Dan's show and hopefully they will come to their senses and give him his own TV show, the one he earned and we voted for which is the original and true premise for Design Star. Again good luck Dan, looking forward to your online show!!!!
How much is HGTV paying some of you to write this bologna! It's obvious that HGTV is editing and misleading everyone on the blog now. Once the Fan Vote is complete and I see how THAT turns out, that will be my last time to log in again. Unless HGTV admits to deceit and offers an official apoligy . . .yeah right like that will happen. Very disappointed with HGTV and the judges. How dare you presume who we want to watch when it is very clear that by the responses that we won't take this lying down! Has anyone else noticed that Home Depot and Lowes were NOT sponsors...hummm.
I won't, he gives me the creepy crawlys, can't even stand the commericals with him in it/will change channel. I almost didn't make it through the finale challenge. Use to keep it on HGTV, but they've lost this viewer, but since last nite only watched 2 shows.
Sorry David, just don't agree, he doesn't bring anything new, he makes my skin crawl. I won't be watching his or any of the Judges shows. That's it I'm done! There's only 5 shows on HGTV that I will watch and only one is from a previous Design Star. So not only am I no longer a Design Star fan-I'm really losing confidence in HGTV.

Yet another show I won't watch! Last year and now this year!!!!!! What a waste of time! Is it cause the big tuff street thug cried....pleeese! Desgin Star has gone down the tubes!!!! Clive I hope you stay clear from this one. I never cared for Vern or Genieve and Candice was on the bubble but she's totally lost it for me. Man I can't believe it!!!!!! Sooooo disappointed. HGTV keep this up and there won't be anything to watch.
That's bologna!!!!! Not everone wants or even likes pink birds. I just don't feel he has anything to offer, nothing that any one of use can't already do. Sorry just don't happen to agree. If he wins will not watch...just like jen from last year...nothing there either.
