Honestly, you are all missing the point of this student's commentary. He is writing an OPINION piece and he is doing just that. There is no need to correct him on something that doesn't need correcting. Never once does he give statements that presume he is getting his info from a source, so there is no need to critique and may I add, bash this student's article. Just as you are, he is stating his opinion on something he seemingly cares about, so stop with the negative comments on his education or his "liberal" views on the matter. He isn't writing this article to spite you, he is writing it because it is something HE cares about.
