Consider this perspective...Its not the value of the commodity going up...its the value of the currency going down.
Demand does have some bearing on prices but hyper levels of deficit spending and debt makes currencies simple worth less in relation to commodities.

And we sit and watch as our governments spend, like drunken sailors, as they have for decades, refusing to reduce spending. The result WILL hit all of us. There is no getting around it.

I'm against the government fooling around in journalism in any way. But if by some miracle a hand came down and broke the presently available journalism into equal weights of liberal, center weighted and conservative influenced journalism - liberal media would be cut back by 50%, as most leans in that direction.

Liberal Californians get yet another wake-up call. How many hundred have they ignored so far?
Unfortunately, many pack up and move out of state to lower, more reasonably taxed states, but too often they vote just like they use to and begin ruining their new places of residence.
They should stay where they are and stew in their own self-made tax misery.
California's not so cool anymore.
