The greatest sin is Pride. The desire to make money is the root of our capitalist system. Equal opportunity under a free enterpise economy will provide compitition; the best way to control greed. I believe the problem is the Elite few (full of pride) trying to control all aspects of our lives. This is the Socialist system which has never proven to work in the past. What pride it must take for our Elected Elite to think it will work here and now.

Term limits would help, however, the bigger problem is the voters. The founders had strict requirements on who was quailified to vote. Even then they chose not to form a democracy but a Constitutional Republic. A democracy will not work, for example, in a third world country where the majority of the voters are poor, ignorant unimformed, irresponsible citizens'. They will always vote for whoever promises to share the wealth.

As a matter of fact whenever any country has less than 1% of the citizens' controling the majority of the wealth a revolt is likely. This generally occurs on forty to fifty year cycles as the hard working, industrious citizen'sget richer. This situation drives the politics and in an effort to share the wealth a considerable amount of the wealth is destroyed. The rich get poorer and the poor get poorer.

I believe that it was the will of God that President Obama be elected, but not for good. We have turned away from God as a nation and perhaps elected who we deserve. I believe he is leading us into a deep depression. God should get our full attention in the crisis that is to come. God has always been here.
