And the dogs he owned were NOT his pets. They were a comodity that he felt he could do with as he pleased.

A "pet" is an animal you love and take care of, and show affection to. I don't think he knows how to do any of those things.

As a Big 12 Fan, I wanted Oklahoma to win for the conference. Besides, I despise the Florida teams. But it was somehow poetic justice that they lost, because they took such pride admitting they "put up at least 60 in their last five games".

Well, that's not hard to do, when they left their first string team in till the end of the game. That certainly is PRIDE !!
