If it were me, I'd send a seal team in with their submersible tugs, under cover of night, have them set a couple of small charges at the fore and aft end of the boat to get her sinking. Then when the pirates and captain are in the water, put some .338 Lapua sniper rifles (fired from the ship) on each of the pirates and get our American citizen back.

Nope.......You are completely missing the point. Those pirates need to be K I L L E D first and rehabilitated second. Violence is the only thing those bass turds understand. The Navy should have greeted them with a 6" shell as soon as the captain made his run for it the other day.

There is one thing that I can guarantee ABC (All Barack Channel) of: The only time I will freeze up when I am faced with the threat of death or bodily harm will be after I have eliminated the threat.

And I do freeze while changing the channel on my TV...I freeze just before passing over any ABC channel!

I really like the way some sheeple in this country like to say that they are ok with citizens owning .22 rifles, tasers, etc. but that the "black rifles" or "assault rifles" should be banned. An assault weapon as it is defined by our fabulous government, is any rifle with a pistol grip, detachable magazine, flash hider, threaded barrel, and so on and so forth. This description includes both semi-auto and fully auto rifles. Full auto rifles are already highly restricted and illegal to own without special permits and fees. The semi-auto's are no different than their bolt action counterparts so far as lethality is concerned. A bolt gun can shoot the same caliber bullet as a semi auto gun and kill you just as dead.

Let's say that Assault weapons are good ol' American musclecars from the 60's and 70's. Now your .22 long rifle in bolt action configuration is your typical Ford Escort, Dodge Neon, or Chevy Cavalier. There is no difference in the function of both classes of cars, except one class looks cooler, holds value, and has collector appeal. The other is strictly utilitarian in nature.

I'm a writing fool these days. I regularly submit calls, emails, etc. to voice my complaints with our government....wouldn't surprise me if the shrug it all off though. Glenn has a good thing here. This project will bring us all together where strength in numbers can be observed and not ignored.
