Apparently you either can't read or didn't bother to read the article. The police resonded to a neighbor who reported the man was trying to pry the door open. Suppose it turned out that he was indeed a robber an they just let him go at his word. Are you telling us that you'd be okay with that?
Okay so the police get called out there due to a guy trying to break into a house with a crowbar in an area where houses get broken into all the time and they're racists. So now imagine that they simply drove off without insisting on his identification and it ended up being an actual crime being committed. What then would the critics of the police say? Of course they would then be screaming that they didn't do their jobs and should be fired. Let's face it, the police are in a no win situation when dealing with these intellectual egghead racebaiters. The worst part of this whole incident is that the police actually caved in and not only dropped the charges but issued the standard PC apology. This guy is an absolute douchebag.
