If one black person scores higher on a college entrance exam, then this claim is false.
It would have been better to say "Black are more likely to score..."

So, if biology is such a factor how do you explain the minority college graduates? Only a small number of so called "African Americans" have sports scholarships. If blacks were so intellectually inferior it would mean that someone black and educated would be rare. However, it is not uncommon to see a black doctor, lawyer, teacher, or accountant (just to name a few).
I will agree culture and economics do play an important role. Even white children struggle when these factors are in place.
(BTW..has anyone read the data from the human genome project? )

Someone said to me the other day that blacks from Kenya are excellent long distance runners because they are black. I believe they are excellent long distance runners because running is the national pastime and they don't have a McDonalds.

This makes me really sad. I work really hard at work and school. Some things come easily to me--calculus, statistics, economics and music. However, because I am of African descent I should be better and sports. Ugh. Race is really a stupid way to classify humans. Furthermore, biologically-- race is defined as a sub-species. If anyone cares we are all homo sapien sapien. Take a look around at the people you know. Are we really so different? I keep reading the comments and I found myself in tears.

I was going to talk about culture etc….but what is the use.

"sincerely hope one day you need the services of our "militarized police force" and they laugh in your face. " I'm sure they won't because there are many upstanding police officers who take their job seriously--no matter who is in trouble. That is what is noble about being a police officer.
As the story is unfolding, it seems that the 'suspect" was not in the residence (It is a two-family dwelling). Maybe they were NOT harboring a criminal. We don't know. Still, there is no reason for a child to be shot to death.

Who throws a flash grenade into a family dwelling? I'm confused, if the police had good intelligance they would know there were children in the dwelling.

Execution or accident it doesn't matter. A 7 year old girl is dead and nothing will ever bring her back.

A Unversity spokeswomen said the decsion to withdraw their offer was because of "some" of her published writings, not because she was unqualified.
For these types of post there is a stringent process of academic review before a candidate given an offer. It is unlikely the University would not know and understand the scope of her work.
