You're probably right, they most likely wouldn't let us know the first winner didn't work out. That would be so sad to have the luck to be drawn and not getting the prize! Makes sense that they would draw several, " Just in case". Thanks for the info! We'll know when we know!
Just when I thought it was safe to not answer the phone every time it rings! 😉. Perhaps the original winner was unable to accept the BC for financial reasons or they didn't return the paperwork. If that were to happen would they start all over drawing a new name? Maybe that why Laurie twitted that message today?? Anyone know what protocol is if that was to happen? I, too, expected to see the happy someone else's photo on Friday. Good luck to all, maybe the dream isn't over quite yet!
Ok another night to dream! So exciting! I love reading this blog. So many kind people hoping for their own little bit of luck but happy for "someone else" should they be chosen. I believe the majority of people and especially you bloggers are good and "deserving" of such a gift. After all, who am I to judge someone's worthiness and it is a sweepstakes, where everyone has a chance! I don't believe in praying for things for myself so i never pray to win. I pray for the heath and safety of others, that others needs be met and that as a people we just be a little kinder to each other and less judgmental. After all, we never know another's burden. So as we wait for the big news let's agree that whoever wins is really really lucky and let's hope that they build great memories there.

Ditto! I too thought it must be my computer or just me doing something wrong! Then, I must admit, my mind went to conspiracy theories. Although I don't post often. I do check in often and surprised myself as to how I missed the conversations and comments especially as the winner announcement nears. So glad for some reason I checked in here. I do think HGTV could have posted something about the blogs being down but then again...just maybe it's part of a bigger plan! Hahaha!
