Search bar at the top seems very handy. Format looks good, but I'm undecided about the color scheme. Like that you kept the old menu link glasses.

In the U.S., I'd live in the Pacific NW, Portland or Seattle, or maybe Bay Area.

Elsewhere, Vancouver (sense a trend?), Copenhagen (the Seattle of Europe!), Paris, Florence, London, several Belgian cities...

Aagh, I was totally in until I read that the ring (which permanently adheres to the phone all the time) covers the flash on the iPhone 4. I almost never use a flash, but I don't want it to be impossible for me to use the flash ever.

I had a pet as a kid who had seizures almost every day for years. Depending on the cause, it's possible to live a long happy life in spite of them, and of course it could just be a one-time thing.

My MIL had a sick cat that she had to feed baby food. She gave the cat veal baby food, and my husband gave her such a hard time about choosing an inhumane meat!

Hope everyone is home now and on the mend.

Me! Me!

I was literally just thinking about Firefly an hour ago when I went to open the window and saw fireflies outside.

It's not just Josh who believes that babies wake women but not men. It's science!

Congratulations! Being part of any big book of the month is huge, but the fact that it's specifically your dream? Phenomenal!

It's been driving me nuts all day, but I knew it was the deciding point for the week so it finally came to me.

Weirdness is relative to the other kids in your social circle/school/playgroup etc. You don't have to be that different to catch flack.

Not that I'm a proponent of fitting in for the sake of fitting in, at all. But I also don't like to set kids up to be singled out unless the rationale is non-negotiable (like passing along my vegetarianism to my children).

Oh and for myself I remember fully appreciating Disneyland at age 4, and probably earlier. By age 8 I was more into appreciating the roller coasters at Magic Mountain.

A SoCal kid who hasn't been until age 9 will be considered a weirdo. Even 6 seems very late and potentially embarrassing for Betty.
