Their problem is their tax exemption and their totalitarian instinct to bully and intimidate the opposition. They should pursue their infantile political obsessions without taxpayer support.

Has Fox ever retracted a story based on anything they've ever published? You'd think by now we'd be seeing some results for our money.

The Leftist mind works like this:

a just state would have no enemies, because everyone would be content and no one would have anything to complain about.

However, some people are unhappy with the US, and the Western world generally. Therefore, the US must not be just, cannot be a good country. If it is not good, it must be torn down so we can build the land of our imagination, which we imagine to be good and so therefore is preferred to what exists. Conservatives recognize it is impossible to make everyone happy, and foolish to try. Conservatives also place the US in historical context, and ask when and where justice has ever existed in any greater abundance than here. Most humans through history have not lived lives of relative peace, prosperity, and dignity as Americans over the last two and a quarter centuries, and if the nation is not perfect it is still good and worth preserving.

These people are bound and determined to make sure Glenn Beck looks like a prophet and soothsayer. Moore must be working for Beck. The Left organizing an uprising to push Obama left, yeah right. No one could be that stupid. It's obviously a put on.

The whole thing OWS thing is transparently a massive effort by Beck's people to sell his crazy conspiracy theories. Sure they may look like idiots playing right into Beck's script, but consider who benefits from their apparent insanity. The unions are organizing the revolutionaries to attack the republic, sure, but who built a media empire so massive it appears on the Internet and in printed book form out of predicting this would happen? Who might be putting the unions up to acting in such an obviously self-defeating way, putting so much into bringing together the drummer-
American and public defecating-American communities in support of no really coherent cause whatsoever? Who is the real Puppet Master? Could he be a pudgy guy with glasses? If he isn't, these guys are working to make him look prescient for free.

Two predictions- 1) it will not work. Black voters will be less enthused than in '08 and fear will not entirely substitute for hope and change. O. will win the black vote by slightly less, and a greater number, tired of defending him, will stay out of it; and 2) we will see a generational shift away from Dem. monopolization of black votes. Herman Cain and Allen West are fresh, dynamic voices in American politics, Rev. Al and Cornel West are not. Even practiced prog flacks will be unable to entirely conceal the failure of their vision. They had both houses of Congress and The One at the helm, and it turned out as it has. Black Americans will be moving toward the door along with almost everyone else.

These issues were settled in 1787. Fareed may have missed it, but we did come up with an Constitution that has survived worse than his crappy cable show. The reason he's on about such twaddle is Obama; the Lightbringer cannot fail, so the fault must be assigned to the nation itself and its stupid oddly dressed founders. Don't question his patriotism, though. Fareed Zakaria is a consummate sycophant.

"Country First" was, I recall, a McCain campaign line. Worked great for Maverick, should do wonders for the One. Obama seems to be right out front telling America his election amounts to a tremendous mistake.
