not only is there a clip from Marshall saying "i can jump that far" from the leap, but there is a clip of Ted saying "I'm gonna win her back!" from an episode yet to be seen...

Part ii

What wasn't mentioned thus far was Robin's outfit at the hospital. Obviously she is wearing yellow, which raises flags to die hard HIMYM fans, but she is also wearing a butterfly necklace. As in Ted's Tattoo which eventually lead him to Stella. The details in this show are so awesome.

The Sven reference and Murder Train reference were awesome, much like this entire episode.

In closing, this episode really spoke to why I love this show. It's the life lessons we learn every Monday. Each once is so articulent, and well crafted to life. We all sit on the edge of our seats, waiting for Future Ted share his knowledge with us. We all know nothing good happens after 2 am. We all know that we shouldn't invite your ex to your wedding, and as of Monday night we all know that no matter where you are in your life, life will get better when you take a risk and bet on yourself. Life has meaning when you take the leap.

Where to start... As this is the last episode we can comment on for a while, I'm going to take my time on this comment

I loved this episode. Once again I was surprised by the initial reaction, but like every HIMYM episode, it gets better every time you watch it.

There were so many great call backs. Some unmentioned ones thus far, was when Barney said "This is Kinda Nice" when he was sitting with Ted in thier "hot tub". Barney also said this in Season 3 Episode 1, when they were sitting in the hot tub, before Ted got the Tattoo. I also recently watched the Pilot, and noticed the Conversation regarding the "Leap". Everything said/done in this show is here for a reason...

I liked this episode but I'll wait to put my full two cents in until after JD posts the discussion.

For a previous writter, it was Sven, the swedish collective from "The Fight", not Stan.

Pretty Sure Carter and Craig were on to us, and Tracey was meant to throw us off

I am quite surprised that several people disliked this episode. It had a season 1 like emotion to it, which is why I fell in love with this show.

I was out of town until tonight and was unable to watch it until half an hour ago, and I thought it was a terriffic episode. It seems to me that in lieu of Lily Marshall has developed a very strong relationship with Barney, which is awesome because Jason Segel and NPH work really well together.

There are so many funny parts that JD has already mentioned that it would be unnecessary for me to repeat. I loved Ted's ring tone!!!

went through the top 99, and much like the other poster's here, I didn't see her, which is a same because in my opinion she ranks higher than a lot of the current 99

Stella is, ofcourse, not the mother. It embarrassing for Yahoo to even suggest it. That's why everyone else uses Google.

I once read that Robin has something to do with Ted meeting his wife. However there seems like a lot of possibilities for both Stella and Robin having the honours of doing so. I'm kind of a believer of the "Tracey Theory", and with a Tracey being cast in "The Leap" I have to believe this is it, but who knows.

This show is absolutely unreal

I was pretty surprised in the inital fourm of this episode of the response it got. I got the feeling that many people didn't like this episode, which shocked me because I loved it!

Unfortunatly I knew going into this episode that Stella would be back, so I realized that the girl under the umbrella would be her. I like that it was her. We all know she isn't the mother, and it was nice to see her back because something awesome is going to happen to Ted because of it.

Favourite parts:
-Marshall's stand up routine about fish. So funny, and I loved the call back.
-The Charts Marshall makes, and the fact that they have an intervention due to the over use
-Barney running into Ted/Robin's appartment telling Ted to look up Robin Sherbotsky Morning Show Vomit.
-The Cecila venn diagram (really clever)
-Bro's Life Magazine
-and ofcourse the new Rival Company to Apple's iPod, the Orange

First off congrats to JD (and Paul) for becoming part of popular culture. I truly envy your relationship with Carter Bays. Also I think a congratulations to the site is due, for not only attracting new readers, but on the extremely strong write up this week. Good Job.

I felt this episode was up there with The Naked Man for humor, this season. It had everything. NPH and Jason Segel both put in strong arguments as to why I believe they are amongst the funniest men on the planet.

Loved the call backs, and how Barney and Marshall manipulated Ted into wearing the Red Cowboy boots.

I will have to question Holli being the Mother, however earlier the name Trudy was brought up again. As much as this is unlikely, it would give the writters to possibly touch on where the Pinnapple came from, which I know they regret not playing out.

All in all terriffic episode

just watched the first 5 episodes over the past few days.

It is sort of a different show, but its pretty funny
