I live in Phx and live in a 1,200 sq foot house. I already pay $150 a month in electricity. I have dual pane windows and a new 14 seer A/C. I'm sure there are people with MUCH higher bills, but I can't stand it any higher. Not on top of my flight training loans, my husband's college loan payments, water bill, cable, phone, internet, car, insurance, you all know. The list goes on.

Does the gov't think I'm made of cash? I hate to think of that answer...

Cap n Trade is going to drive our already frail economy into a depression. We have MUCH bigger issues to deal with at the moment. Like taking our government back from the criminals running it.

Implementing Cap and Trade is said to only improve the global climate by 1/50th of a degree over the next 20 or so years.

Oh... Like it's rumored that NK is building it's nuclear arms. Lets turn our attention away from that and focus on the hypothetical situation he thinks this health plan will work, among other things. Isn't that "speculating on hypotheticals"? Which one deserves more attention, the one that blows us off the map or the one that finally bankrupts us?

Listen Yo'bama, I don't want your ASSurances, I want to hear your plan. I want to hear your logical plan. The reason we aren't hearing one is because he DOESN'T HAVE ONE.

Has Yo'bama factored unemployment into his bright ideas? We aren't collecting any taxes because we (those who pay taxes) AREN'T MAKING ANY MONEY! Sure, I have a job, but no work. No one has money to start a career in flying nowadays. How about we quit spending so much of our precious tax dollars on the things that matter and not flying his butt around the world, or drop some of the gov't programs that don't work instead of spending more money creating new ones!

How is a national park different from that of a Mal-Wart parking lot?

If I feel the need to be armed and protect myself, I have the right to do so. Making something LEGAL doesn't stop those who use common sense, nor those who intend to break the law.

I'm glad this passed, but not sure what the disapproval is all about. I guess it's the same regarding any gun issue.

I'm not an aviation expert... But doesn't this violate Federal Aviation Regulation Section 91.13 - Careless or reckless operation.

"(a) Aircraft operations for the purpose of air navigation. No person may operate an aircraft in a careless or reckless manner so as to endanger the life or property of another."

Wait- It's the FAA, they make the rules, and are allowed to break them. Who forgot to put their brain on that day? If I did that in an airplane I'd be burned at the stake! But because it's the government, it's all ok... [!!!!]

This is a perfect example of how these guys are in this for power. They're saying he made the switch for "self preservation". Meaning if he'd stayed Republican, he'd loose his power. None of these guys will stick up for what they believe, they do what the majority wants them to so they can keep their positions in power. [I feel like I'm talking in circles.]
