Anyway, at the risk of repeating what I just wrote elsewhere, again you seem to have me confused with someone else, " hate driven brainwashed paranoid minds of many Unionists like yourself " - really ought to read "common sense driven mind". Nobody with an ounce of wit wants a united Ireland right this moment (yourself included - are you a, gasp, unionist?! I think not). Since I am more than open to the idea, down the road, when it might actually be beneficial to all concerned, that hardly makes me 'die hard unionist'. Since increasingly, as you well know (and support), more and more decisions are going to our new overseas leaders (EU) it hardly matters. Once we are all part of 'Ireland', in the United States of Europe, I wont be any less Northern Irish than I am today.

It doesnt demean me, or sadden me, in the slightest to 'argue such a point'. Firstly, as I consider myself Northern Irish (after all, I was born there) first and foremost. Anything second to that, is indeed, secondary. Secondly, as I wasnt actually argueing any point (youll notice I said 'regardless of your views on the subject, or facts/opinions") it bothers me even less. Pointing out how you completely and utterly contradicted yourself was the sole purpose of the post.
I made the that comment purely for my own amusement, as you were clearly getting yourself a little confused. We all spotted it, and I didnt want you to miss out on the laugh. Evidently the red (green?) mist came down and you just saw unionist/flag/UK and starting spouting your usual material.

- "You ask "What makes Belfast different from any other UK city"
Maybe it's because the majority of the people there don't regard themselves as British..... "
Implying Belfast is different to other UK cities because most people do not consider themselves British. You then go on to say:
-"And it takes quite a push to get a Welshman to admit to being British..... and then only because it is self evident since he was born in Britain. As for the Scots.....well that's mostly a harder task entirely. "
So it seems Belfast is DIFFERENT to the rest UK because the majority there dont call themselves Brittish...but in 2 out of the remaining 3 participating countries, you claim noone there calls themselves British either.
Belfast doesnt sound so different after all.
Regardless of your views on the subject, or the facts/opinions you have stated - you did, quite obviously, contradict yourself.

So that you know, it was a joke at your expense, highlighting your love of overseas 'rule' when it comes from some countries, but not others. You would also sell your soul for Euros, but I didnt think that was quite specific enough.
Anyway, I have only been in another galaxy for about 11 years, hence 'not knowing' the DM was gone...
I might suggest when you are handing out advice for life, you may want to consider this - getting off the Bel Tel round about could be good for you. How many times a week do you repeat yourself to people who really couldnt care less how 'progressive' you think you are, and more than that, will never, ever (8Bill) come round to agree with you.

"A Stormont event at which a young woman went “barefoot and bare-chested” was blasted last night as “shameful” by unionists."
Should read:
"A Stormont event at which a young woman went “barefoot and bare-chested” was blasted last night as “shameful” by a unionist."

Would make sense actually, considering your multiple profiles, that would explain a lot.
