Sorry everyone...that is not Kathy O'Dell standing between Allison and Tiffany. It has to be the new 'no-name' winner.
Here is a link to a picture of Kathy O'Dell, who is not nearly as dark skinned as the winner. They do seem similar in height and hair style.

So, you too have seen the home as well? Although I am not a fan of the home's proximity to the other homes and the subsidized housing near by, the location is great relative to downtown's awesomeness.

OK everybody...I DROVE by the Smart Home about 2 hrs ago. Very quiet over there. A truck was parked out front. The garage door was open and the new car was parked out front. I drove around the neighborhood as well.
I am sorry to report that I was let down. The home looks so tiny, stuck way back from the street and crowded out by another two homes, similar in style.
The location is OK. There was some subsidized housing close by.
I personally wouldn't choose to live there if I had won the home. I would definitely sell it since the market is going up, up, up. It is an older neighborhood but there were homes being torn down and others being modernized. It is an up and coming neighborhood.
Still...even though I'm not a huge fan of the home itself (proximity to homes around it),I'd certainly be a blessed person to have won. I did want to drive off in that car!!!.

HGTV and Tiffany...I flew into Austin yesterday. You didn't ambush me at the airport but I just read you all flew in today. Maybe you are gonna ambush me tomorrow and then show me the house too?
Just offering that up since there is still no word/peep/announcement as to who the winner is YET!

Maybe HGTV found out I'm flying to Austin on Thursday and they will ambush me at the airport! Now that would be AWESOME!

Or, maybe I'll sneak by the Smart House this coming weekend to see if there is anything happening.
