As an Ex-Pat living in Australia I felt it was my patriotic duty to mail in a tea-bag to the US Consulate in Perth. So there, the government office that is the furthest on the globe from Washington D.C. recieved my small message. Hopefully there are U.S. citizens world wide doing the same.
Wish I was back in the States with you all to join in... keep up the good work!

We differ on a few issues but that is not the point at all. What the point is, is that we both agree on 8 out of 9 of these principles.
I'm hoping that this page can stay above petty bickering of certain policies and stay focused on the 9 p's and 12 v's.
You'll probably get a lot of crap about the athiest thing or the healthcare thing or whatever... that's not important. No matter what our views are, I think most people are here because we can see the walls of big gov't closing in on us.

How about 8 1/2 out of 9. I believe in God but can't honestly say He's the center of my life -- perhaps some room for improvement on my part. I have lived in Australia for the past 3 years and have taken a good long whiff of what a western european styled society smells like...and it aint roses. Since being here, my patriotism for the US has grown greatly...but as I watch what is happening back home that patriotism feels more and more "nostalgic". It has come to the point that I no longer want to return, and in fact, I really can't anyways. The company that I worked for in Colorado has decided to pack it up and move here to escape the pending obama tax. Elections have consequences, policy has consequences... and even if it's just a small piece of the picture... this is my piece.
Glad to see Beck putting this all together for like minded people, because if anyone feels helpless and alone it's me way down here.
