Interesting to think that immorality started in the 60s; slavery, child abuse, alcoholism, rape, mysiogyny, and so forth were factors even in biblical times. I don't know of any statistics which document an increase in immorality since 1960, nor is it possible to measure those factors now vice 100 or 1000 or 10000 years ago. However, all generations write about the same phenomenon you did - how things used to be better. I think it is part of the human experience to feel that way, even if, clearly, it cannot have been true for each generation.
