So far bicarb has been all right as long as I use enough vinegar. It's certainly been better since I halved the amount of bicarb though - which is handy as it will save money as well.

It was great to meet you too! I'd love to see you're embroidery when you're finished. Might inspire me to try my hand at it.

Sounds mad doesn't it? Seems to be working though.

There is some hope. H&M have just started an eco-concious line and M&S do some fairtrade clothes which is at least an improvement.

The problem of course is that as soon as money gets tight ethical shopping seems to take the first hit. Tesco has also cut back dramatically on their organic products.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do next time I need clothes. I really struggle to buy clothes online as the rarely fit properly. It's so frustrating!

I keep getting tempted to try felting a wool sweater in the washing machine, but it always feels quite wasteful!

You should try needle felting when you can get out from under little ones. It's a project that travels well and repeatedly stabbing at the wool is quite therapeutic!
