Can't wait for this year's Crazy 4 Cult- I went opening night last year and there was a lot of really great stuff.

So, the kid sitting behind Mr. Unkrich on the plane, then, could have peeked over the seat and seen TS3? Little bastard.

I do love that that particular Kelvin and Enterprise meeting is "fictional", though. :-)

Please, please be Martin Freeman. I'm betting a significant portion of my religious beliefs on whether that prayer is answered.

If I were to guess from what it showed, her car fills with water, and so to breathe she sticks her head out of the sunroof. Then, you know. *Thwack*

Okay, but when that dude transforms back INTO a dude, will he still have his pants?

I do kind of like the idea that if Zac Efron wants to show his grandma the moment he won an award on national TV, he has to show her that. Not that I think offending grannies is funny per se. This just kinda seems like a nice "f*** you" to Zac's moment to shine. :-) A way to 'taint' the experience, if you will.

(Ooh, see what I did there?)

I really love 2.35 (both for shooting and viewing), but I'm of course gonna give Cameron the benefit of the doubt on this one. I've gotta say, I'm very, very intrigued. This movie has shot miles upward on my can't-wait list.

Also, to add to the scope-shift-movie list, the theatrical cut of Galaxy Quest began in (I believe) 1.66, before shifting to scope around 20 minutes in. The DVD version is scope throughout.

My dad had a story from when he saw ET in theaters back in '82. There was a couple sitting in front of him that were really into the movie for pretty much the whole first half... the spacecraft leaving the little alien stranded on Earth, the little boy befriending the alien, the alien trying to make contact with his home world, and so on. But then the scene occurs where Elliot's bike rolls off the cliff, then lifts into the air and flies away... and the girl in front of my dad says, loudly, "oh, RIGHT".

Some people have limits they just can't push past. :-)

Okay, I've gotta go see this now. I'm not generally a horror guy, but I surmise from the reactions of all my friends that the movie's a blast. I also surmise based on the above photo that Allison Lohman is very attractive. I'm sold.

Textbook example of pop psychobabble. Just TRY to deconstruct one of those sentences- once you do, you realize he's not actually saying anything, just chasing his tail in circles.

Actually, 'beating himself off' is probably a better analogy though.
