Sadly, many young people believe their liberal professors, MTV, the insidious propaganda that passes for network television and the Comedy Channel reflect the universe. They're even pressured and conditioned to look no further. It should come as no surprise that suicides are rising among the young. Dr. Laura, where are you? Anyway, like attracts like. I expect he'll be a regular on Morning Joe or become a paid expert on an MSNBC and/or CNN panel. Or, he'll be on Hannity's 'All-American' panel, such is Hannity these days.

What an odd response: That (a) conservative critics would carry water for Obama, or (b) they would carry water for someone because you IMAGINE they would. Liberals are easy to identify: It's as if the elevator doesn't go to the top floor.

Hi, Joe. As disconnected from reality and groundless as one expects such positions to be. Yet serving as an important reminder that such views will continue to be are unfortunately encouraged, enabled and exploited by the Left when it is in a leadership position. And it is also another strong but infrequently illustrated reason as to why Obama needs to be defeated in November.

I don't see any sign of an organized RNC capable of competing with the DNC/White House/MSM. It seems the face of the RNC, Rince Prebus, appears as often as that critter on Groundhog Day. I sense from his absence that Priebus ran for the chairmanship of the RNC to put something on his resume, hoping it would translate into a job in a possible Republican administration. Yes, he's less an embarrassment than Michael Steele of MSNBC, but really, is that saying much?

I haven't seen any "hateful personal attacks" levied by Republicans (establishment or otherwise) on independents or Ron Paul supporters. Both are treated respectfully at the debates and elsewhere. The few attacks there have been seem to be done by liberals, liberals masquerading as conservatives, or reactionary types who have some degree of a mental disorder. Conservativism invites debate and ideas, it does not attempt to shut them out. On the other hand, you have the clear evidence of liberal censorship and their vile attacks.

I can't help it. I've been observing her in the public eye for quite awhile. Taylor Swift seems to embody all the special traits I love in conservative young people: self-possessed without lacking humility, generous with other artists and with her time, empathetic without a liberal's insecure need to exploit it, gentle and open and feminine, generous, fun and intriguing as a constantly developing songwriter and musician. And she's also a pretty young woman who seems to be inclusive of everyone, even her critics.

Another opportunity to say "poor Lindsay Lohan" even before she appears. She's a Whitney/Amy/Heath/[enter name of deceased rapper or overdosed celebrity] waiting to happen, who should be out of the spotlight and in rehab faithfully doing her program with our sympathy and prayers. But SNL, which has used her (as it did Whitney) as a punching bag for years, sees an opportunity to exploit her yet again. She has no movie to promote. She's unlikely to sell any more Playboy issues (or make money if she does). She brings no original skits with her (too bad - they couldn't be worse than SNL's). She'll do a "hip" self-parody and maybe swing out to deliver lines to bash perceived ideological enemies of the writers. Could be just as easily hosted by Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Snooki or The Unit.

The few comments here show how SNL isn't relevant. SNL is predictable and stale. It survives like MSNBC survives: it's on the network menu and is the attractive leftwing cartoon on at that hour. And when our young default liberals wake up to realize the writers of The Daily Show similarly are unable to penetrate issues with any depth beyond the predictable single-joke put-down skit of Americans they are taught to perceive as enemies, or cuing Jon Stewart to massage his nipples and roll his tongue on camera, the better off and readier they'll be to seriously take on the issues that threaten to ruin this country and their lives. One can imagine when jokes of post-adolescent Daily Show writers aren't subtle enough in putting down Christianity and conservatives, they walk over and submit them at SNL or Jimmy Fallon, so no put-down goes untold.

I think it's a matter of the left hand not knowing what the far, far left hand is doing.

Sad to say, but yes. This is the natural end product of a liberal subculture that ingests Marxism, utopianism and irrationality in one end and then produces this waste of humanity through the other end.
