Talk about a stereotype.
American beer goes well beyond Budweiser. If you were right, though, and American beer were actually as bad as you say it is, RateBeer's Top 50 wouldn't be dominated by American beers:

And I write this as I sip some good Saint Arnold beer. Brewed right here in America and, boy, does it taste GOOD.

Don't make assumptions if you're complaining about people making assumptions.

Also, our healthcare yields much better results curing cancer than that of any other country in Europe or on Earth. British cancer survival rates, by the way, are the worst in Europe. Our healthcare is flawed, but yours is no better.
And you MUST be joking about the TV. Have you seen House, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Entourage, etc. etc. etc?
Again, another over-generalizing, pseudo-intellectual comment that only brings a bunch of bullshit to this discussion.

Also, you're WRONG on scientific output. The US is, as has been for many years, above the UK and all other countries in scientific output. Just because Britain has done great things for humanity doesn't mean the US hasn't. And just because you're countering what you may perceive as bias against your land doesn't make you unbiased. You're as partial to your homeland as anyone is here.

Also, Entree in the sense of entrance means "the meal entering to the dining hall from the kitchen," it doesn't necessarily mean "an entrance into the meal."

You've got everything Walmart has except for bullets? I mean, how in the WORLD do you try to pass off as the one denouncing intolerance and ignorance when you're the one saying things like THAT? First, the point the writer was trying to make was VERY favorable to Europeans, in that he was trying to say that Americans are way too dependent on big business, mass-producing, and the impersonal feel of a big supermarket, as opposed to a more intimate contact with producers and smaller-scale sellers in Europe. Second, NO, WE DO NOT SELL WEAPONS IN WAL-MART. See how YOU'RE the one "pretending to be tolerant" and outright bashing us for nothing? See how YOU'RE the one being an ignorant? Just because our Second Amendment protects the right of the people to bear arms (which has historical reasons, if you didn't know) doesn't mean we have guns even in our supermarkets.
Also, "never heard of your image in the rest of the world?" Yeah, we have, so what? Are we supposed to cry over it? We well know that the rest of the world is as ignorant about America as America is ignorant about the rest of the world. We should be concerned with what you think about us as you should be concerned about what we think about you, for example.
If you're going to bash Americans for believing they're better than you, then don't show that you yourself think you're so much better than us, because you're as full of sh*t as any fanatic, ignorant American is.

And no, Americans didn't learn the language "after" Brits or anything like that. Remember that Americans didn't just pop into existence out of nowhere and decided to copy the English language off of the British people. We speak English for a reason--namely because many of our forefathers were British, too, just as British as anyone who was born in Britain and remained in Britain for all his life. An American of British ancestry has as much a right to say that he descends from the people that invented the English language as does an "authentic" Brit. In fact, you'd be surprised how much more conservative American English is in many cases.
And yes, humor is very subjective :)
