Hopefully Obama care will provide for lots and lots of free abortions for people with low income. It could be one good thing to come out of it.

No, I didn't edit it. Calling other people IDIOTS because you are so ignorant you don't even understand what they are saying won't cure you of your ignorance.

Perhaps you believe Donne was an IDIOT. In other words, you believe that the lives and deaths of other human beings is completely inconsequential to you? If that is is your view of others, you can expect others to view your own life, ideas, and eventual death as also being of absolutely no consequence to them.

You appear to be well on your way to achieving this.

Pssst, hey loserwatchman, that was a breathtaking display of ignorance. I hate to break this to you, but John Donne was most definitely not an IDIOT:

"Speaking of remembrance, here's something to remember:
Dont hit an officer in the face."

Here's another thing to remember: never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

Rather that look into abuses that actually affect people's lives in a meaningful way, the Judicial Tenure Commission act as if they're in the Upper Class Twit of the Year contest and waste untold amounts of our tax dollars making inane arguments with no basis in the law. Perhaps their purported great concern for ensuring no one is above the law would have some merit if they actually knew what the law was.

The judicial Tenure Commission is an abject failure. If you think I'm overstating my case, why is judge Gardner still on the bench after demonstrating such an extreme level of incompetence that Kent County had to settle a Federal Civil rights lawsuit against her for upwards of $200,000? (more of our tax money down the drain thanks to these idiots)

The dirty little secret is that no one in the local bar dares to say one word about a judge for fear the judge will retaliate and rule against them in the future. The mafia would be proud.

Big Brother isn't in some Hollywood movie or some nondescript CIA office building in the suburbs of Washington DC. He's right here in the Kent County Circuit Court building, the DHS office on Franklin, and the Friend of the Court office on Ionia. Our federal lawmakers, Vern Ehlers, Pete Hoekstra, Debbie Stabenow, Carl Levin, etc. ensure that federal tax money collected under threat of incarceration is given to local agencies with virtually no strings attached so these local government entities can intrude on our lives in any way they choose.

The courts in Michigan have a decidedly cavilier attitude towards our constitutional rights as citizens. Rather than act as an impartial party that contrues the laws, they typically act in concert with DHS in ensuring parents' rights are swept aside as efficiently as possible. (In fairness, there have been some recent higher court decisions that have not followed this pattern, but these have been the exception)

DHS also has several fully-furnished office buildings it uses for training a few days out of the year. The building sit empty for most of the year. Any normal business would simply rent space at hotel or other facility for a few days rather than keep empty office space open.

DHS, the family courts, and the Friend of the Court are without a doubt the most powerful and intrusive government entities that are presently in existence. They are by and large insulated from local control with respect to funding because they receive federal block grants with almost no strings attached. Our state lawmakers walk around in circles muttering to themselves rather than doing anything. (Dave Agema is an exception, but no one person can change the entire system)

Let's wipe the slate clean and shut down DHS for good. It is not possible to imagine a more inept, wasteful, power hungry government entity. They've been paying independent computer consultants upwards of $250,000 per year each to impliment the "Bridge" system. This has been going on for almost ten years now. Every time the consultants fail to get the project done, they are rewarded with more lucrative contracts. It's no surprise these consultants are former DHS employees who know full well how play the political game in Lansing to ensure they can keep their place at the public trough.
