I think the most important point, which should be front and center instead of peripheral, is that Cohen calls Republicans Nazis only a week after calling for the vaunted "New Tone" himself. I think that Stewart probably knew it was the real issue also because he closed with the joke that Cohen himself was acting like a Nazi.
No, REDUX was hell ...for the viewer.
