i am happy to see keane arrive, would have liked to get steven Irland but he has gone to newcastle, may be review him at the end of the season as we need a creative player in the middle of the park that can also score goals. I think Upson should go as how can he be captain when he wont even renew his contract ( not that i want him too ). Maybe Liverpool will sell torres and buy Cole as a target man to replace him giving us additional funds to improve our squad. COYI

hoping the two new players will be joe cole on loan ( but i doubt it ) and more likely keane on loan with a view to a move at the end of the season. The O'neill buy reminds me a little bit like the quarzie buy (sorry about the spelling). But he did not have the quilty to play against the PL teams, in so ended up on a nice wage but not playing, I hope this is not the case.

the 25-30 mil invested by the sugold duo will more than likely be invested in to the club by taking out shares in the process. Making them look good but actually just buying a bigger chunk of the club. I think they want us to go down in some respects as they can clear down the high earners and start a fresh like what happened with them at birminham. I think we should get di canio in as coach and motivator and at the end of the season put him as manager he has been doing all of his coaching badges.....

I feel that as a club our owners have acted poorly, the Manager is clueless, and us as fans are left wondering what is going on. I look at clubs like arsenal that just get on with there business and transfer are only spoken about in the media after they have happened, with envy. All I want is a stable club which we as fans can say I am proud of....

What players with any sense will join us now, I wonder..... only the greedy ones that don't care if we stay up or go down but just wont to line there pockets.

Lets hope this is resolved on monday, a new manager in charge, stability on the pitch and a few more points on the board.... only time will tell !!!

has anyone else noticed that G&S seem to be going down the same road as they did with Zola. Leaking story's from within and trying to get Grant to be outspoken so they can try and sack him for gross misconduct like they did with Zola. It back fired with Zola but maybe they have adapted there methods to achieve the same goal. I want Grant out but I think the board needs to be more confident in the management of the situation. We need a Manager that is going to spark drive at half time not stand there when we score with a miserable face....

At the end of the season if we stay up we will be looking to offload a lot of high wage bill players anyway with the likes of dyer, upson, bigmac, and others like gabby who i believe contact runs out this season. So might as well relace them with so substance, yes theres a wage cost to take into account but at least we might see some football being played... also with players like the ones above we may be able to hold onto parker after this season ends?

having put him out on loan for what seems to be forever to see no improvement applying his trade in the lower leagues I would look to sell him and bring in an established forward to lead the line and keep us up. Also sell the likes for Behrami and bring some of the wealth for talent sitting at Manchester city that cant buy a game. SWP, Bridge, Micah Richards, Joleon Lescott, Adam Johnson, Emmanuel Adebayor... the list goes on, I am not saying buy all of them but any of these's have the potential to support our bid of staying in the PL.

has anyone else heard the rumour that ilunga is not the age he said he was. It is being said that due to his injury's he keeps getting the club had a bone scan done on him and found that his bone's where that of a 38 yr old not 28 yr old. His old club also argued that he was older than he stated. This would explain why we are also looking for a long term replacement at left back...
