They were finally able to find someone to marry them late this afternoon. It was truly a sight to see per the pictures on their local news website. Even better, they are going to NYC to be on the Today Show tomorrow morning. Yuck.

Greta was wrong - Ron Cummings and Misti Croslin DID get married today. And they will be appearing on the Today Show in NYC tomorrow morning. Yes, that's right, they are going on a "honeymoon" while Haleigh is "missing." The wedding was lovely; photos show Ron wearing a black tank top and Misti has a backless dress. This couple is sick, sick, sick.

It's almost as if these folks go out of their way to look as bad as possible. Getting engaged less than a month after your child disappears? And proposing to the "supposed" last person who saw her and didn't protect her? Something STINKS about this -- first thought is spousal privilege.

I have been following this case closely and there are so many things that are "off" about it. I'm sorry, but I did not believe Ron's mother last night. Her body language seemed forced and fake. Her story also did not make sense, and Greta did not stop her or correct her. She said she received a call at 3:27 a.m. that Haleigh was missing. She then said she lives 10-15 miles from the trailer. She then said she arrived at the trailer at 3:30 a.m. It is impossible to get up, get dressed, get your keys, get in the car and then drive 15 miles...all in 3 minutes.

How does one determine who is a “responsible” homeowner and who isn’t?

This mortgage deal burns me up. I can understand there are some truly legitimate cases, but that seems to be the rarity. Most of these people got into something they KNEW they couldn’t afford, or they just don’t want the hassle of homeownership anymore. That doesn’t seem “responsible” to me.

We had our house for sale for over a year. In that time, we had to move due to my husband’s career to another state. It was very costly and stressful maintaining that home while it was on the market — but we did it. We could have easily just said “we don’t want this anymore” and walked away. But we did the right thing and kept it on the market. It took 13 months, but it sold and we could walk away knowing we didn’t scam anyone, take handouts, etc.

I recall an actual quote from him less than two weeks after taking office. He said he was "tired" of being in the White House and needed to get out. This is outrageous. Can you even imagine if Pres Bush had said such a thing.

This "date night" stuff is moronic. I'm sure most Americans would love to go out on fancy date nights, but money is tight and it isn't happening. I saw they had some little Valentines weekend together as well. He needs to start acting like a President and cut the Hollywood movie star act.

Nope, they will lead with really important stories like A-Rod or the Oscar Awards. It concerns me greatly that no one seems to be paying attention to what is really going on here. The press is so in the tank, we'll never get a real version of events. Thank goodness for Greta.

I used to be a news junkie, had the news on all day. Now I can't bear to hear his phony "Southern preacher" voice pandering to whoever will listen.
