Seems to me that Texas is being very progressive here.

If those supporting illegal immigration get their way, the way this guy was handled will be the norm. Police will not be able to question the nationality of suspects. Therefore the suspects won't be able go crying to the mexican "government" when they get caught doing what mexicans do in mexico.

Humanely interring those who come from countries that you are at war with isn't necessarily racism. In light of the fact that axis countries were engaged in the rampant starving, torturing, and murdering of "racially inferior" people , it sounds more like a prudent action to insure your survival.

Perhaps the fact that they had the courage to do so is why our parents and grandparents actually won that war.
