I have a friend that served in the Marine Corps with James Carville in the late 60's. He stated that Carville used to stand on top of the foot lockers and preach to other Marines whether they wanted to hear it or not. My friend has also stated that Carville went home on leave, probably in 1968, and was admitted to a Mental Institution. He never returned to his unit, and still received an honorable discharge.
