The budget is balanced, would just like to see some more of the LOTTO money go toward schools like it was suppose to, not allow employment benefits for 99 weeks, and vote out these dems.

However we (Indiana) is in the black unlike 40 other states. Could be worse , we could be as broke as Michigan, Illinois , and Californina

I for one agree that this was a waste of money , not to mention that lots of Ohio and Kentucky people were working on this project due to low bids. Personally if you are gonna use my Indiana taxes then you should higher Indiana workers

I d say our biggest problem with our school like many, are the teachers that have tenure, and I mean the ones that have been there 30+ years. Im not saying all older teachers fall in this category, but I graduated 12 years ago and I was in classes where teachers just put in a movie or tapes of there favorite TV shows and told the students, here is this weeks work, have it turned in by Friday. Those same teachers are still there. I thought it to be cool when I was a student though now I have children Im not thinking so. We need to hold these teachers to higher stands, but at the same time give back some diciplinary rights to them. You drop your kids off to school 8 hrs a day , so the way I see it , the school is spending more time with your kids then you are. To many times I heard " I ll call my parents you cant touch me" , or talking back , or just being rude. Its gotta happen or these grades wont come up. A little more dicipline in our lives folks.

Your ideals dont make sense, if he gave tax cuts, why would they leave? He also gave families tax breaks. At the end of the day if you wanna tax the hell out of business, be prepared to lose them. Id rather not tax em at all, and just tax the workers there normal FICA, everyone wins, we get jobs they get there money , business prospers. Thats what your company is doing right now, thats how you bring business in, TAX BREAKS . that economics 101

U are the one telling everyone about his business skills, I dont know the man personally. What I do know is that his insurance was through the roof, so maintenance and upkeep take back seat to covering ones butt legally. I have heard he was tough on "some driver" , but people I know "well connected" Hoosier Racing Tire, will tell you that he was liked by 90 percent of the drivers including Stremme and Newman. He was liked by a few winers (which sounds like the ones you were talking to) . Face it, times got tough, insurance liabiliy and taxes on rise , people not spending much money any more. He had some bad luck, maybe brought on by him, I dont really care, I just asked you to look at facts first instead of opinions of what you heard so and so say. Look it up, county accessors office. What kind of liability did he have to have? WHat was his overhead?, What did he bring in? Then I will listen to what you have to say. Like I said if he had tons of money why would he have to sell? You really dont have a case or right to bash the man.

But I do hope someone buys it and brings back racing.

Well i will agree with term limits and cleaning up politicians, LETS agree, start by throwing that socialist HUSSIEN OBAMA out on his ass. He is the worst thing that has hit this country since the attack on PEARL HARBOR. All you DEMS wanted change, well by God you got it. Hows the shoe fitting now. You take away tax cuts we all pay more its simple math. A single dad making 52k a year I really cant afford 4k more in taxes. You lesson taxes companies grow which = jobs. I for one need and want rich business owners, that way we all have jobs. Oh no we have to be angry over business men, you walk a fine line, punish the rich for getting rich, you better hope you stay in the poor house forever and dont even try to teach your kids to reach for the stars, cuz they will be "one of them" . Give me a break . Capitalism works!!!PERIOD!!

First of all D.C. was controlled by democrats in the house and senate in "06" so your "08" whitch hunt on Bush dont add up. And while your talking about jobs going across the border , you better read up on what your DEM BOY Clinton did to this countries farmers as he is responsible for NAFTA 68-31 vote by DEMS. FACTS are FACTS , read up on it. Oh and Clinton and Gore sold contracts to build Air Force One and the Presidents Helicopters to foreign companies. Fact I worked for the company that was out bid.

supporting Donnelly will only continue the wasteful spending you are speaking of. South Bend is and has always been a democratic city with democratic officers. So going along with Donnely you support this crazy 2000 page health bill that WILL bankrupt this country and you are also going along with " doing business same as usual " attitude. You cant have it both ways. Sounds to me you are a conservative trying to get out of that democratic body
