Unlike Tom Schaad who clearly shows his liberal stance on the air, Alveta has always stayed clear of political bias, but rather delivering a direct unbiased story every night. I hope the younger journalists have taken notes of Alveta's professionalism, work ethic and sincerity.

I started watching WAVY when Alveta was co-anchoring with Charles Pugh, Les Smith and when Don Slater didn't stutter every 3 words and NOT ONCE did I see Alveta deliver less than 100% when she was On Air.

Alveta, If you read this I want you to know that I speak for many when I say we have been grateful for you and everything you've done. You've been a great journalist and I wish you the best with your future endeavors. It will not be the same at WAVY, but you've put in your time and you've earned your retirement.. You will deeply missed.

At some point, parents needs to be held accountable. That'll encourage them to pay more attention to raising them properly.

I'm looking at his account now and there is actually only 1 pic that says "homegrown" get your facts straight and don't exaggerate.
