To clarify. redsn0w 0.7.2 update is just for new jailbreakers. No need to run it again if it 0.7/0.7.1 was OK for you. No ultrasn0w ETA yet.

follow these steps:

1) Update iTunes to 8.2
2) Update iPhone firmware (OS) to 3.0 using iTunes
3) Download RedSn0w, the IPSW and the BITs files to unlock

now run redsnow and do the jailbreak and unlock, u do not need ultrasn0w
