There is no welfare in Iowa. There are food stamps and low income housing, but no one out there is getting a welfare check because they simply don't exist.

10 to life sounds like some teeth to me, that would be about the only teeth involved.

That kind of formerly endorsed behavior is the only reason hawkeye football games have become so wildly popular, and all of a sudden..... you cant do that ..... here is your ticket!

Ice is pure meth probably made by a chemist, unlike the bathtub brewed midwest meth made with anhydrous ammonia and pseudoefedrine by toothless mumbling morons.

It is far more profitable to just hand out tickets instead of making arrests, It is the same as printing your own money. Oh wait this is really about public safety, not profiteering.

It seems more likely that I will be pistol whipped and watch my wife get raped in my home then to be attacked by a black bear. The thought of real predators in iowa is a little unnerving but we can adapt just as people who live in places where bears live do. I would much rather live near bears than thugs, but the people are more likely to take up arms against bears than thugs. Either way my rifle is loaded.

Sadly enough it could be restored quite nicely. The mortar between the blocks on the exterior that has eroded can be removed by sandblasting and replaced to make it a quite sturdy structure. It would be however a very expensive and very dangerous waste of resource. Knock that eyesore over and grind it up into something people need around here...Roads.
