Charles was a gift to both Boulder and to me. He took care of me through thick and then from the time he was CU up until his retirement. Charles and Torkin have done so much good with their lives. I never doubted he would go to help in this fight. Treat him right when he returns Boulder.

Looked like both times are still adjusting to the new emphasis on hand checking.

Scared me when Iowa got too close for comfort after CU having such a big lead. Iowa never got the lead, which was good. That would have given them confidence to think they might actually win.

Go Buffs!

I am 62 and still don't know what it is I want to be when I grow up! I am a college graduate and retired. I survived a long career in a job I detested and that made me sick. I took a disability retirement to get out of it because it had be bedridden and incapable of enjoying anything.

Now I do clerical work which I enjoy. It doesn't pay very well, but it is my fun money. I'm also very good, if I don't say so myself.

I would take all those skills tests to see what I should be and it always came out with what I was doing and hated. So I am still looking and will keep looking as long as I can do anything.

QB during CU's glory years. What a joy you were to watch play! Congratulations to you Darian!

Thank you CDOT. As a former resident of both Boulder and Black Hawk, I can't imagine how isolated this would have made me feel. I always went to Boulder through Nederland when I lived in Black Hawk. I would have hated going through Denver.

Glad the residents have an easier way to get up and down Boulder Canyon.

This was definitely the right call. There are too many problems with flood waters in Boulder and emergency personnel need to be dealing with that, not a football crowd.

Sometimes athletics have to take a back seat and this is one of those times. Boulder will be back!

Watched the game from beginning to end on Pac12 Rocky Mountain from the Midwest. I have Dish and have to subscribe to the multi-sports package to see my Buffs but I do it because I love watching basketball, football and volleyball. I get it off my bill once basketball is over.

Loved the 4th quarter touchdowns and excitement last night. Yes, team has a long way to go, but Coach MacIntrye is building off a team that only won one game last season.

How many contract buyouts is CU going to involve itself in? The money being spent on buyouts is ridiculous.

$1.3 million overrun in "miscellaneous expenses"? Who was approving these? Look there. That is an outrageous number.

At least one of the coaches who was fired had been given a contract extension not long before being fired. While I agreed with the coach being fired, why was the contract extended in the first place?

I am sorry to learn of Barry Fey's suicide. However, having lived much of my life as a depressed person, I understand completely why he would choose to do so.

On a lighter note, thank you Barry for bringing Paul McCartney to Folsom Field in May 1993. It is the only time in my life I have ever seen Paul from the front row and I sure didn't pay what it cost to be in the front row today. I've seen Paul perform over 40 times by now, but the Boulder concert, in my own backyard, is by far the highlight of them all.

I lived close enough to Folsom that I heard all of the concerts from my patio, even if I chose not to attend.

People, please do not berate Barry for what he chose to do. He most likely felt he had no choice. I've been there and found a wonderful doctor to get me through the dark days.
